About
AI Governance Institute is the authoritative global directory of AI governance frameworks, regulations, and guidelines. Built for enterprise compliance teams who need a single, reliable source of truth.
What we track
We cover binding regulations, voluntary frameworks, guidelines, codes of conduct, enforcement actions, and pending legislation across the EU, United States, United Kingdom, international standards bodies (ISO, OECD, UNESCO), and Asia-Pacific jurisdictions including China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and Australia.
Who it's for
We write for senior compliance officers, general counsel, risk managers, and GRC teams at large enterprises deploying or procuring AI systems. Our summaries are plain-English and actionable: no jargon, no editorializing, just what you need to know and what it means for your organization.
Editorial process
Our monitoring pipeline scans official government publications, regulatory body websites, standards organizations, and primary legal sources daily across all covered jurisdictions. Each finding is classified and a structured draft is prepared.
Every directory entry and news item is reviewed by a human editor before publication. We verify that the source is authoritative, that the summary accurately reflects the primary document, and that the compliance implications are correctly characterized. We do not publish based on secondary reporting alone.
Directory entries are updated when material changes occur: amendments, new effective dates, enforcement clarifications, or significant regulatory guidance. Minor administrative changes are not published.
Sourcing
Every entry links directly to its primary source: the official government publication, regulatory body document, or standards body output. Where an official URL is not publicly available, the issuing body and document reference are cited. We do not rely on press releases or third-party summaries as primary sources.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly. If you find inaccurate information, an outdated entry, or a missing regulation, please contact us at corrections@aigovernance.com. Material corrections are noted in the affected entry.
