Cryptographic Verification

Cryptographic verification is the use of mathematical signatures and checksums to confirm that a piece of software, model file, dataset, or document is genuine and has not been altered since its creator released it. For AI governance, it gives organizations a way to check where a model or software component came from and whether it was tampered with before it entered their systems. Regulators and standards bodies increasingly expect this kind of provenance evidence when AI systems are procured, audited, or deployed in high-risk settings.
