LLM Alignment
LLM alignment refers to the set of techniques used to make large language models behave in line with human intentions, stated policies, and safety goals, such as refusing harmful requests and following instructions faithfully. For enterprise governance teams, it matters because a model's alignment determines how reliably it will respect the company's own usage rules, content restrictions, and legal obligations once deployed. Weak or unverified alignment can expose an organization to outputs that are inaccurate, biased, or unsafe, so buyers should ask vendors how alignment was tested and how it is monitored over time.
