LLM Infrastructure

LLM infrastructure refers to the servers, cloud services, model-serving platforms, vector databases, and orchestration tools that companies use to run large language models (AI systems trained on large volumes of text to generate and interpret language) in their own products and operations. For governance teams, this layer matters because it is where data is stored, processed, and logged, and where access controls, vendor contracts, and uptime commitments actually take effect. Weaknesses in this stack can expose sensitive prompts and outputs, create hidden data-residency problems, or leave a business dependent on a single provider it cannot easily replace.
