Multi-Model Orchestration
Multi-model orchestration refers to systems that route a single task across several AI models, such as sending one step to a large general model and another to a smaller specialized one, then combining their outputs. For enterprise governance teams, this matters because each model may have different training data, vendor terms, data-handling practices, and failure modes, so an accountability gap can open between the orchestration layer and the individual providers. Compliance and risk owners need to know which model handled which data and decision, since audit trails and regulatory obligations often attach to each component separately.
