Synthetic Personas
Synthetic personas are AI-generated fictional user profiles or characters created to represent target audiences, customer segments, or stakeholder groups in testing and design scenarios. In AI governance, they raise important compliance concerns around bias testing, fairness validation, and the representativeness of synthetic data used in model development and evaluation. Organizations must ensure these personas don't inadvertently reinforce stereotypes or mask discriminatory patterns in AI systems that could affect real users.
