AI Notification

AI notification refers to the alerts, disclosures, and messages that organizations must or choose to send to people when artificial intelligence is involved in a product, decision, or interaction. Examples include telling a customer they are chatting with a bot, informing an applicant that an automated system helped evaluate their file, or alerting regulators and affected users after an AI system fails or causes harm. For compliance and risk teams, these obligations are increasingly set by laws such as the EU AI Act, so getting notification wording, timing, and delivery channels wrong can create regulatory exposure even when the underlying AI system works as intended.
