FedRAMP 20x
FedRAMP 20x is a reworked version of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, the US government's security certification process for cloud services used by federal agencies. Launched by the General Services Administration in 2025, it aims to replace long, document-heavy authorization reviews with automated, evidence-based checks that cloud vendors can run continuously. For vendors selling AI tools to federal agencies, it changes what proof of security must look like and how quickly a product can be approved, so compliance teams should track its requirements closely.
