GPU Telemetry
GPU telemetry is the stream of operational data, such as utilization, temperature, memory use, and power draw, that graphics processing units (the chips that run most AI model training and inference) report about their own workload. For governance teams, this data is a source of evidence: it can show which systems ran which compute jobs, when, and at what scale, which matters for audit trails, cost allocation, and verifying claims about how a model was trained. It can also reveal misuse, such as unauthorized large training runs, and it raises its own privacy and access-control questions because the logs may expose sensitive details about internal projects.
