AI CSAM

AI CSAM refers to child sexual abuse material generated or altered using artificial intelligence, including synthetic images, videos, and manipulated photos of real children. It is illegal in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and many other jurisdictions, and it is treated as a serious crime regardless of whether a real child was photographed. For enterprises, this tag matters because AI image and video tools can be misused to produce it, creating legal exposure, platform liability, reporting obligations, and reputational risk for any company that builds, hosts, or deploys generative AI.
