Credential Security

Credential security refers to the practices and technologies that protect authentication credentials like passwords, API keys, tokens, and certificates from unauthorized access or theft. In enterprise AI systems, compromised credentials pose a critical risk because they can give attackers direct access to sensitive models, training data, and inference endpoints. Effective credential security involves secure storage, rotation policies, monitoring for suspicious usage patterns, and integration with identity and access management frameworks to enforce principle of least privilege across AI infrastructure.
