800+ Exposed Artex Attack Tools Signal an AI Security Configuration Crisis

Cybersecurity firm Censys found more than 800 publicly accessible deployments of Artex, a Chinese-made autonomous penetration testing AI, left open on the internet without password protection. The tool has been linked to confirmed attacks on South Korean financial institutions and IT vendor ConnectWise. Microsoft warned that Artex-enabled intrusions gave defenders little time to respond.
